New Years

We had the best party all by ourselves on New Years Eve. Just the 2 of us! We had a lot of treats, watched reruns of scrubs and gilmore girls and played some games! My sisters and I talked on the webcam for awhile too. We watched the news about what was going on on the strip, boy am I glad we didn't go there! There was estimated 400,000 people. A guy said there was a bottle throwing fight at about 2 in the morning where more than 8 people taken to the hospital with gashes in their heads. He said the strip was so busy that the EMS teams couldn't drive to the people. We are glad we stayed home and had our own quiet little party. We thought we could see the fireworks from our apartment but we couldn't, so we watched them on tv. We went to bed right after midnight because Clay had to work the next morning.

When I worked at Lone Peak High School, one of the girls told me she has a sister out here in Henderson and gave me her number and gave her my number. Her sister, Andrea, called me when we first moved here and we have been trying to make plans to have a game night or dinner or something, but we can never match schedules. Finally, on the 1st we made plans to eat pizza and play games at their house. We had a lot of fun. It is nice to know someone out here! We were really excited to have some friends.
