We turned on the tv this morning to see that the Monte Carlo hotel was on fire! No one knows what caused it yet, but the roof caught fire at about 11 this morning and it kept burning down three floors. Most of the people they talked to who were staying in the hotel said that they were watching the news when they saw that their hotel was on fire. Everyone was evacuated and it showed this poor girl running out the doors in her wedding dress! How sad! We can see some of the smoke from our apartment. They say it burned so quickly because the top of the hotel is made partly of styrofoam. The fire has now been contained to one section and luckily no one was hurt.
