Baby Shower!

Last Saturday, My family threw me a baby shower. I got so many cute things! I think I have everything I need now. I think my baby has more clothes than I do! Thanks to everyone for coming, it was so much fun! I can't believe I only have 3 weeks left.

A New Pet?

When my dad, stepmom and family came over last night we found this poor little duck lying on it's back on my sidewalk just shaking. We thought maybe it was hurt so we picked it up and wrapped it in a towel. There are always lots of ducks in the stream by my house so we went to see if we could find it's mom, but we couldn't. It didn't seem to be too hurt, so my dad took it home to try to get it healthy because we couldn't just put it into the water! It couldn't even get off of it's back -how was it going to survive on it's own? When they got it home they said that it followed their dog everywhere! and when the dog layed down the duck would climb on top of it to cuddle. I think the duck thinks the dog is it's mom! CUTE!

30 Weeks

Oh don't I look miserable. I feel like I look so tired and puffy! Which I am. She is laying so high up in my ribs! Sometimes my stomach looks almost cone shaped because I think she sticks her bum out right where my belly button is. It's scary to think we only have about 10 weeks left.Yikes! I don't feel ready at all. We are one step closer though...We bought a stroller Yay! It's a jeep jogging stroller....originally $160, and guess how much I paid, $49.04!!! I couldn't pass it up. It even has a plug for my ipod and lots of other cool features. I love finding bargains.

3D UltraSound

At my doctor's appointment today we got to have a 3D ultrasound. It was soo amazing. I told Clay it would be kind of funny if we found out it was really a boy, but nope still a girl,-We saw a pretty good shot! Thank goodness. She kept yawning, puckering her lips, stretching and waving. We had the doctor, a med student, and the nurse all in the room with us because they wanted to watch. I had the glucose test today and it was normal along with everything else, they still said my blood pressure was a little high but they weren't too worried about it.

just about 26 Weeks!

It was exciting for Clay to feel our baby kick for the first time a few weeks ago, and now we feel & see her move all the time! It is so much fun to get kicked in the bladder all night long. I have been sleeping a lot better & feeling great since the visit to the chiropractor. We have been working on getting our house more organized so we have more space for all the baby stuff. Clay has gotten really good at making French Toast....that's all I ever want to eat for breakfast lunch or dinner.

My invitation business keeps me very busy while Clay is at school 3 nights a week. He is also on a city softball team that plays once a week. They have a pretty good team. I love watching him play. He is such a hard worker! He is going to be such a good daddy. He is always worried about me and takes good care of me. He will actually watch A Baby Story with me now but he just laughs at me because I can't help but cry every single time I watch it, along with any other show. I think he gets a little emotional too...he just won't show it.

We had a good Easter....poor Clay, I abandoned him on Easter Day to go to WICKED with Joey, Sahra, Kamy, Jalayne, & Mike.....I LOVED IT! I am sure Clay did fine without me watching baseball. (That's what's always on our tv now)

I guess that's it for the last couple weeks!

My New Rocking Chair!

Thank you sooo much to everyone who went in on my rocking chair! I love it! It is so comfortable and it will be so nice when I rock a baby to sleep every night or when I fall asleep in it myself! It reclines all the way back, it's microfiber, and it is perfect. This picture is the one off the website, I am way to lazy to get out of the rocking chair and take a picture of it.

What a fun week!!

So it all started on Tuesday night I was having horrible pain through my lower back and front, so bad it made me nauseated. It didn't feel like my kidney stone pain and the cramping/tightening in my stomach made me feel really worried so Clay took me to the hospital at 2:30am. They took me up to labor & delivery where I was hooked up to all the monitors and tested to make sure I wasn't in preterm labor. The baby's heartbeat looked good, and all of the other tests seemed to be okay so they let me go home about 7am with lortab for the pain (which I hate because it doesn't make pain go away it just makes me feel weird) and instructions to just take it easy and not do much at all just in case.

I slept and rested as much as I could on Wednesday which wasn't much at all, but I don't think I have slept at all since then. I can not lay, sit, or stand without being in awful pain! I tried sleeping with a million pillows and in my rocking chair and still I can't sleep. I am exhausted and emotional and being exhausted makes me more emotional! Thank you to Clay's dad for giving me a blessing this morning while Clay was at work.

My mom said I should try to go to the chiropractor to help relieve some of the pressure on my hips and back so I called today and they got me right in! I have had a lot of problems with my hips and back my whole life and being pregnant just adds to it. But It felt so good when he adjusted me! I have to sit with ice on my back and hips this weekend as much as possible, and I will go back on Monday and get a deep tissue massage and another adjustment. I am just praying that this will help me sleep at night and not be so miserable!

Cute Baby!

Our Friends Lance & Jessica had their cute & chubby baby girl on Thursday! We are so happy for them! baby Kambree weighs 8 pounds 10 ounces! I just kept thinking...in 17 weeks that's going to be us!

22 Weeks!

Half Way There! My belly is growing that's for sure! Other than having the flu and a cold this past week, I have been feeling really good. Since I was sick on my birthday last Monday, Clay took me to Tucanos on Thursday for dinner..yum! He got me some cute maternity shirts and took me to pick out this cute dress I am wearing in my picture. Thanks Hubby!

We (okay maybe it's just me) have been having too much fun buying baby girl clothes. We got curtains and ADORABLE crib bedding this weekend!! I was so excited! Pictures to come.

KAMY- I am SO buying you this for your baby boy! Okay this is the funniest thing I have ever seen! It is called the Pee Pee Teepee ........the ad says "Just put the Pee Pee Teepee on his wee-wee and you won't get sprayed while changing his diaper!" Who thought of this? honestly!

IT'S A GIRL!!!

Everything looked good & healthy in our ultrasound. The baby measured right up to our due date. It was so fun to watch her wave at us and kick her legs and see her cute little lips and eyes. We are so excited!

Help us sell our car!!

We are trying to sell our Mazda 626. It is a 1998, and it runs great! It just passed 100,000 miles. We replaced the pulley system, alternator belt and power steering belt in October 2008. It has new tires as of August 2007. It does need a new timing belt soon. We are asking $2500 OBO. It has really been a great car, but we have 3 cars right now and need to sell one asap!! So TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

Here it is! The baby bump!

It's not that big yet, but this past week it sort of just popped out! Going on 17 weeks and feeling pretty good, We are counting down the days til we get to find out the sex! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

We are also selling a Brand New John Daly Golf Bag that Clay got for Christmas (He won one from work that he likes better) It is backpack style, with a stand, snap on cover and lots of pockets. We will sell it for $65 to get it out of my house! We have to make room for the baby stuff!

14 weeks and counting

We had our 3rd doctors appointment today, everything seems to be going great! We were finally able to hear our baby's heartbeat which was 170-175! Very exciting! Everyone I tell that to says since it's a faster heartbeat its probably a boy...Clay said he doesn't want to get his hopes up by thinking that yet.

I have been feeling really good, other than another passing of a kidney stone last night...yuck! I hate them. That makes 2 that passed while I have been pregnant (the other one was the week before Christmas). I will post a picture of my growing baby bump soon...it hasn't grown much yet but it feels like its starting to. I am so grateful to Sahra (my sis in law) for lending me some of her maternity clothes because no matter how hard i try, I just can't squeeze into my other clothes anymore!

Our Ultrasound is scheduled for February 27, I can't wait to know what it is so I can start shopping!
If any of you moms have any shopping suggestions, or brands you like or features of things you love or things you absolutely cannot live without...let me know!

We are happy to announce there is going to be an addition to our little family! We found out in the middle of November and have kept it a secret until New Years Eve when we told our families! I am currently 12 weeks along. Our due date is July 26th! We are so excited! We had our first ultra sound the Tuesday after Christmas which was so cool to see our baby bouncing around in there!

Thank you so much to Mom & Dad Hiss for taking me maternity shopping, since all of my clothes don't fit me anymore. I appreciate it so much!
